1. How We Source Devices

DXB Gadgets acquires devices through two verified channels:

1. Devices Purchased from Authorized Traders

We work with trusted traders and suppliers who deal in mobile phones and electronic devices. Even when devices come from professional traders, no product is listed without independent verification by our in-house experts.

2. Devices Purchased Directly from Individual Sellers

We also buy devices directly from individuals who wish to sell their personal phones or electronics. These devices are collected and sent for full expert inspection before any purchase decision is made.

In both cases, the same strict verification standards apply.

2. Initial Device Assessment

Once a device is received, our expert team performs an initial assessment, which includes:

Verifying the brand, model, and serial/IMEI number
Confirming the device is a genuine and original product
Checking whether the device is new, used, or previously opened
Verifying ownership and ensuring the device is not reported lost or blocked
Confirming the device is network unlocked

Devices that fail the initial assessment are immediately rejected and are not purchased or listed.

3. Detailed Expert Inspection

If the device passes the initial assessment, it undergoes a detailed technical and physical inspection by certified experts.

A. Physical & Cosmetic Inspection

Our experts carefully check:

Screen condition (scratches, dead pixels, discoloration)
Frame and body condition
Buttons, ports, speakers, and microphones
Signs of physical impact or water exposure

B. Internal & Repair History Check

The device is inspected to determine:

Whether the device has been opened previously
If any parts have been repaired or replaced
Whether original manufacturer components are present
Signs of unauthorized repair or tampering

Any device with non-original parts or improper repairs may be rejected.

C. Hardware & Functional Testing

Each device is tested using professional diagnostic tools to ensure full functionality, including:

Display and touch responsiveness
Camera performance (front & rear)
Battery health and charging performance
Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint sensors
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and network connectivity
Speakers, microphone, vibration, and sensors

4. Software & Security Verification

Our experts also perform software-level checks:

Factory reset to remove previous user data
Verification of operating system authenticity
Removal of iCloud, Google, or other account locks
Confirmation that the device is free from malware or unauthorized software

Only devices that pass all software checks are approved.

5. Final Verification Decision

After completing all inspections:

Devices that meet our quality, originality, and functionality standards are:
- Fully cleaned and factory reset
- Graded (Like New / Good / Fair)
- Approved for resale and listed on DXB Gadgets
❌ Rejected Devices
Devices that fail inspection due to authenticity issues, repairs, damage, or other concerns are:
- Not purchased by DXB Gadgets
- Not listed for resale
